Formerly known as About Time, the band was formed in the spring of 1994 in Southern Maryland.

After almost five years of being “public-shy”, the group took on a challenge by booking a show at a local club in College Park, Maryland.  About Time was allowed a maximum of 30 minutes performance time.  For most of us, it was the most exciting 30 minutes of our lives!  We had a lot of fun that evening; it opened a variety of doors for the group. We started out with a very light performance schedule of one to two shows a month.

Without the guidance of an agent or manager, the group enforced its own rule of allowing themselves to all be the point of contact.  It was an unusual agreement that worked out well. However, as the years went by, the gig scheduling increased, with most clients using Dee (vocalist) as their first point of contact. Gaining a good rapport with both clients and musicians, the group strongly encouraged Dee to take on full charge of the band. 

On January 1, 2005, the group was renamed to "SIGNATURE LIVE!"

Today, Signature Live! continues to hold the reputation of being a multi-faceted live entertainment band.  We present musical styles satisfying our fans with tunes beginning from the baby-boomer’s generation to today’s top 40 songs. Our success can be attributed to our motto: “Taking You Back & Bringing You Back”™.
