SweetBittaDee, Ettah Duren and JessLove


SweetBittaDee
, a native New Yorker, R&B singer, and entertainer, holds the ranges of first soprano through alto! She has performed as a backup singer as well as a lead singer, improvising the challenging ranges of Joyce Kennedy, Aretha Franklin, Patti Labelle, Gladys Knight, Toni Braxton, Anita Baker, Miki Howard, Melissa Morgan, Taylor Dane, Chaka Khan, The Isleys, Sade, Lyn Collins, and the list goes on.

Dee began singing in her late twenties after being asked by choir director and family member, Barbara Lathan. Months later, another talented family member, Gregory Lathan, asked her to fill in as an R&B backup singer for a local show. Her next challenge came a few years later when she was asked to fill in for a lead singer.

Since then, she has worked with a number of well known local entertainers and bands, both as a lead and backup singer. Dee is also a big fan of "Old School Tunes", which makes her style a perfect fit for Signature's motto - "Taking You Back and Bringing You Back."



JessLove (Jessica), a Pittsburgh, PA native, grew up listening to the  harmonic rhythm of gospel music. At the age of 12, she started a gospel quartet at St. John's United Holy of New Castle, PA. Surprisingly, she held the position of the church's youngest Choir Director.
During her time with the quartet, the young definitive singer experienced her very first recording "He's Coming Back".
By the late 1990's, JessLove moved to theWashington, DC area. Gifted with a strong, supple soprano/alto, she was influenced not only by gospel but by the challenging genres of R&B, Neo-Soul and Traditional Pop. It wasn't long before JessLove decided to use those versatile measures and propose the opportunities ofperforming with live entertainment bands: Briscoe & Co., Prospect Band & Lady Rythym.  The challenge decision proved to be successful! 
 
Today, JessLove continues exploring her talent.  She's currently a member of Signature Live, delivering unbelieveable performances, satisfying fans with today's top 40 tunes and tunes way before her time!

This native Washingtonian/ R&B singer began singing at the tender age of 8!

Young Ettah (formerly known as Ettah Blacksheare), began mimicking the dynamic vocals of female artist(s) such as the late Ella Fitzgerald, Billy Holliday, Diana Washington to today divas, Chaka Khan, Joyce-Kennedy, Vanessa Bell Armstrong plus more!

By age 11, she started singing in young neighborhood bands. The challenging opportunity helped Ettah create her own sound. Her powerful range lead her to join gospel groups and a number of R&B events. As the years went by, her vocal career launched! During the mid eighties, she formed a female group called Love, Joy & Desire (later known as 2-to-Tame). This was a successful avenue that allowed the young ladies to become local background artist(s). They were also the opening act for Heavy D, Regina Bell, Today and Jennifer Holliday.

Today the soulful talented singer is one of the leading vocalists of Signature Live! Because of a longtime friendship with two members in the group, the love within Signature Live! holds a special place in her heart! She is a great coach, giving her all on every performance! 

Ettah is also a devoted manager to the uprising local group Sudden-M-Pac.
