In February 2009 Signature Live! had the opportunity of entertaining Mrs. Moretha Lancaster (Aunt Kate).  

It was a day that we'll never forget! Our motto ---"Taking It Back & Bringing It Back" was up for a challenge.  We weren't informed that this special lady had just turned 90 years-young.
We were unprepared,
hesitate of our music selections which were not of her era. We went into a silent panic. 

However once she entered the room, her spirit rushed into our hearts. It was her warm vibrance that gave us a sense of direction.  It was like magic! As entertainers we never really knew how far back (genre) each one of us could go!  We began pulling classic selections from the top of  our heads! 

The more we played for Aunt Kate, the more we loved her! What a touching day!  How precious is that? How precious can ones presence be? Unbelievable!

Aunt Kate bought us through it all that day. She will forever be special in our hearts.

Although God has called her  home (June 2011), we know we'll meet again someday in a place where the streets are paved in gold.  And this time we be entertained by the sweet sounds of God angels.
